The Last Days of Tarquinz

Guest Cast Biographies

Linda Borini is originally from Italy. She attended the art academy in Venice and graduated in architecture while developing as a professional ballet and lyrical jazz dancer. After moving to California she was scouted by a modeling agency and moved back to Italy to spend three seasons in Milan as a professional model. This adventure, although dissatisfying, showed her the way to what eventually became her true obsession: acting. Back in Hollywood she dove head first into the quest for that perfect magical moment and the experience this time has been devastatingly satisfying. Linda is thrilled to be once more performing with the incredible Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble. She thanks the cast for its richness, Bernard Hiller for changing her life forever, Kyle Ingleman for showing her how it's done, and her mom for being her hero.

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Betsy Hume came to Los Angeles for college, and saw the city as a challenge she couldn't refuse. After graduating in May from Occidental College, she found a nook for herself in Silver Lake and, soon after, in the cast of The Last Days of Tarquinz. She has thoroughly enjoyed the creative process of Ziggurat, as her entire career in professional theater has been in a similar ensemble environment. Her previous experience in ensemble-generated work was with Occidental Children's Theater, which Betsy has been a part of for the last two summers. She would like to thank OCT (a.k.a. Jamie and Urs) for the opportunity of auditioning for Ziggurat. Also, she would like to thank her family, boyfriend, friends, and puppy for the unconditional love and support.

Cary Thompson, a native of Chickasha, Oklahoma, is excited to be working with the Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble on The Last Days of Tarquinz. He would like to thank Stephen and Dana for the opportunity, and the cast and crew for all their hard work. Special Thanks to Jack Colvin, "You must permeate your mind and body with artistic qualities" -- you will truly be missed. To The Chekhov Studio and The Chickasha Wild Bunch -- thanks for your ongoing support.
